The Building Technology Department was established at Government Technical High School (Let Khoke Kone) in 2010. The objective of the department is to produce competent skilled technicians in accordance to the needs of the labor market of building construction industry in Myanmar. The duration of the certificate program of Building Technology Department is two years comprising of four semesters. Outstanding qualified students from this certificate program are admitted to higher diploma program of civil engineering at Government Technical Institutes.
Building Technology Course
The Building Technology course is constructed with surveying, building materials and construction, basic engineering drawing, engineering drawing and workshop practices. Workshop practices include masonry, carpentry, surveying and bar bending etc.
